Nora Bateson
Nora Bateson is an award-winning filmmaker, writer and educator, as well as President of the International Bateson Institute based in Sweden. Her work asks the question “How we can improve our perception of the complexity we live within, so we may improve our interaction with the world?”.
An international lecturer, researcher and writer, Nora wrote, directed and produced the award-winning documentary, An Ecology of Mind, a portrait of her father, Gregory Bateson. Her work brings the fields of biology, cognition, art, anthropology, psychology, and information technology together into a study of the patterns in ecology of living systems.
Matt Schutte
Matt is the Holochain Director of Communications, helping others to understand the transformational potential of Holo and Holochain. Matt is also a member of the Metacurrency project, which is building the technological tools and social patterns and practices to enable the next economy
Phoebe Tickell
Phoebe is a scientist (genetic engineering), educator and serial systems entrepreneur. A Genetic engineer turned decentralized network evangelist. Phoebe is a member at Enspiral, a fellow at Newspeak House, and the co-founder of FutureFarmLab and Tech For Humanity.
Göran Janson
Göran Janson is a social entrepreneur, coach, mentor and adviser to management boards and individual leaders, as well as a founder of several companies and foundations. He has more than 40 years of experience in fields of research, development, product management, marketing and sales, business development, and executive management of which he has spent 30+ years as CEO, CTO, and service on boards as member and chairperson. In his work as a researcher, systems architect, and computer scientist, his knowledge and experience were applied to architecture and to the development of very complex missions and of critical safety systems, where humans are integral and interdependent parts of the systems.
April Crawford-Smith
April has a vision for building empowered, creative, self-sustaining communities. Having worked in social and environmental justice for many years, April is currently Project Manager for The Valley Centre, and Co-Founder of Pingala, April is also a writer and artist with a passion for nature and Indigenous Sovereignty.
James Allen
James is a strategist, writer and complexity-based facilitator based in Gippsland, Australia. James is focused on exploring the intersection of community, risk, culture, spirituality, complexity, in an effort to find ways to live well in these messy times. He is also the co-host of The Gloaming podcast which focuses on building resilience in times of uncertainty.
